Wider opening of schools
Dear Parents and Carers,
Yesterday evening the Government announced a number of changes to the national lockdown, including plans for the wider opening of schools. We welcome the news that pupils for all of our schools will begin returning from the 8th March 2021 onwards.
Our staff are eager for children to return and we are delighted to be welcoming them back into our classrooms soon.
We are carefully planning the wider opening of our schools to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and pupils. We will be publishing information to all of our pupils over the next few days including guidance for mass-asymptomatic testing (for pupils in Year 7 or older), plans for the wider re-opening of each school/phase, and details for how we will manage the return of our pupils safely.
Pupil Perceptions Survey
We asked all of our students from Year 2 and above to complete an online survey to tell us about their wellbeing whilst they have been working from home. As we plan for their return to school, this information is essential for us to know how our children have coped during the lockdown.
If your child has not yet completed their survey, please ask them to do so by Friday 26th February 2021.
Further information is available on our website (please click here) and we have previously sent this to you via e-mail. Children in Year 7 and above have also received this information via their school e-mail.
There will be a lot of information to share, so please keep an eye out for updates published on our websites, via parent mail, and social media.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs A. Lloyd & Mrs S. Dosanjh
Head of School- Secondary & Primary Phase
