Dear Parents and Carers,

We are pleased to inform you that on Friday, 15th November 2024, our school will be participating in Children in Need, a remarkable annual event that brings together schools, communities and families across the UK to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children. This year’s theme, “Make Life Lighter for Children,” aims to bring joy, positivity and support to children who face significant challenges, including those living in poverty, those with disabilities, and those experiencing difficult family circumstances.

As part of the celebrations, we invite all children to come to school wearing spotted clothing – whether it is spotted socks, t-shirts, hats or any other spotted clothing they may have. Let us aim to make our school look truly SPOTacular in honour of this event.

May we request you to donate £1 for each child taking part, with all funds going directly to Children in Need. Children in Need raises funds for essential projects that provide emotional, educational and practical assistance to children in need across the UK. Together, we can “make life lighter” for children who need it most.
